Your New Home for 6 Months
Our fully self-contained residential campus at 105 Mile Stone, Jaipur-Delhi NH-8, Bawal, Haryana is designed to replicate the discipline, structure, and operational environment of life onboard a commercial vessel. Every facility has been purpose-built for maritime training excellence.
Four air-conditioned classrooms equipped with multimedia projectors, interactive smart boards, maritime training aids, ship models, navigation charts, and seating for 60+ cadets. Each classroom has a dedicated maritime library corner with reference books, IMO publications, and STCW training manuals available for self-study during breaks.
Full-scale engine room simulator replicating actual vessel conditions โ main diesel engine cut-away model, auxiliary generators, pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating, gear), oily water separator, purifier/clarifier, boiler systems, and electrical panels. Cadets gain hands-on experience before their first ship assignment.
Olympic-standard swimming pool used for STCW sea survival training, Personal Survival Techniques (PST) certification, lifeboat drills, life raft inflation exercises, treading water endurance tests, and daily swimming training. Cadets who arrive as non-swimmers leave as confident swimmers โ we teach from scratch with certified swim instructors.
Twin-bed and dormitory-style rooms with attached bathrooms, ceiling fans, adequate storage, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The hostel is designed to mirror shipboard cabin life โ cadets learn to live in shared spaces, maintain personal hygiene, and follow housekeeping routines that will serve them onboard. 24/7 security, CCTV surveillance, laundry service, and hot water supply.
Fully equipped computer lab with ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System) software, navigation simulators, maritime e-learning platforms, and high-speed internet for online research. Cadets practice electronic chart navigation, passage planning, and bridge instrument operation on the same software used on modern commercial vessels.
Modern gymnasium with treadmills, cross-trainers, weight machines, free weights, and stretching area. Outdoor sports facilities include a 400-metre running track, cricket pitch, volleyball court, badminton court, and kabaddi ground. Daily PT (Physical Training) sessions ensure cadets meet the physical fitness standards required by shipping companies.
Dedicated outdoor fire fighting training area for STCW FPFF (Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting) certification. Equipped with real fire simulation units, CO2 extinguishers, foam extinguishers, DCP extinguishers, fire hoses and hydrants, BA (Breathing Apparatus) sets, SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), fire blankets, and a smoke-filled compartment for enclosed space rescue training. Cadets practice extinguishing real fires under controlled conditions with certified instructors.
Spacious dining hall serving 4 meals daily โ breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. Menu planned by a nutritionist to ensure cadets receive the caloric intake needed for their intensive physical training regime. Special dietary requirements accommodated with advance notice. The mess operates on a strict schedule mirroring shipboard meal timings.
